My crashes with 2007r2 typically come when a built app is launched in the debugger. There is no RB error message, just OS X's "This application has crashed. Do you want to Reopen, Cancel, and one other option I can't remember." (obviously my quote isn't exact.)
These have all been VERY basic apps, created in 2007r2 (not brought from earlier versions), one window, a couple standard controls, a couple methods. No plugins, no classes, no custom controls. The apps simply compile as normal with no errors, launch and I get the OS error. Again while running under the debugger. I would expect a debugger error of some kind to help me track down an error in my code. The same code will compile and run without changes and without errors simply by returning to RB and re-running the project. Once the IDE crashed with the same OS error simply when returning focus to it when returning from my web browser. The debugger wasn't running, and no built app was running, I just switched back to 2007r2 from surfing the web and got the crash. The crash happens regularly on: MacBook Core Duo 2 GB RAM Mac OS X 10.4.9 REALbasic Pro 2007r2 I can't remember whether or not it's happened on my G4, also running 10.4.9.
