David, I don't get this tangible error error, but I do have 2007r2
Windows crash on me without notice (it just disappears) +10 times
within 2-3 hours of programming. I just relaunch, and it works for
awhile, then does it again.

Seems like the same bug in another context.

It's not reproducible, and I doubt making a small app would reproduce
it, as perhaps it may be related to the stress given by a larger app
doing more things. Still, I'll try and submit something if it
happens. Still who knows if it'll replicate for you?

David, what I do on my apps is have a logging option that writes
specific things that my program does. If a user reports an error that
is not "input file" related, I ask them to turn logging on and get
the error again, and I ask them to send the log in. If the log
doesn't narrow it down for me, then I send them a special build that
has more logging in it until I narrow down the bug and I can fix it.

Why doesn't RB have a log of it's own where you (RealSoft) can take
control and find where the bug is?

I just had a "phantom breakpoints" bug report closed because RS
couldn't replicate the bug. But the bug still happens here,
erratically. It's real - it's not user error. Just because it's
erratic doesn't mean the bug doesn't exist. Wouldn't a RS-specific
log file help matters, so bugs like the phantom breakpoints and the
frequent crashes don't get unreported or slip between the cracks?

While we are at it, can you change the 2007r2 installer so it doesn't
associate non-extension files with RB? That's pretty non-standard behavior.
