Fred,

I had this same problem on two PowerBooks over the weekend. The only
solution I found (and this wouldn't really work on a Windows machine) was to
allocate 100 MB of RAM to RealPlayer.

That said, this was only a partial solution. If I used the slider to
navigate between clips more than 3 or 4 times, my machine would crash.

Anyone know the magic secret to local RAM file playback?
