I've had similar problems, although in my case the RM files play on some
machines and not on others. For PCs, playback is fine on a dual-processor
PIII 500 with 512Mb RAM and NT 4.0, but not on a single PII 300 with 128 Mb
RAM and NT 4.0. For Macs, the RM files play on a Powerbook G3 300 with 128
Mb RAM but not on a PowerMac 6500/300 with 128Mb RAM.

In fact, I'd largely forgotten the problem as I've got into the habit of
only playing back on the computers where local playback works!
