Subject: Linux vs. Windows Encoding
Has anybody done any comparisons between the Linux and Windows G2
encoders? On comparable computers, which one gives the best performance
and stability? How about audio/video quality?
We're using the Osprey 100 on Windows NT and have been fairly happy, but
the computer has locked up or lost video before. I'd like to turn it on
and leave it for weeks (or more) at a time without interuption.
