I'm in exactly the same situation, all the RealVideo I've done looks =
terrible when viewed over a 28.8-56k connection.=20
Seems like such a great idea, but it comes right down to quality of the =
video in the end, and the results have been pretty disappointing so far.
Looks great on our LAN, or from a CDROM, but distribution over the Net =
seems to be a pretty iffy proposition at best.
So for now, I think I'll put my energies and efforts elsewhere.

Subject: Quality video at 20kbps???
Is it possible to give quality video surestreamed for 28k modem users?
I ask that cuz with my webhost, I normally only get a 20k stream with
my 56k account. If you have some examples of quality video online,
surestreamed for 28.8k modems then can you provide an url? Also tell
me what are the specs of the encoding PC and source. I am at my wits
end on determining if we should give up on trying to provide video on
our site. I can obtain decent video for 56k users, but 28.8 has
pretty bad video. BTW, I am using Real Producer 7 Plus (on sharp
image setting) on a P2 350, 128 SDRAM, all in wonder 128 16MB, win98,
VHS tape as source...yeah I know VHS is lame...but its all I got ;-)
Please respond directly in addition to mail list..thanx.
