THEY ARE WONDERFUL...the veggie come out so good, the brocolli is a bright
green and cooked to perfection (not soggy or dull green), the same goes for
carrots, cauliflower and asparagus and string beans,
I fill the bag to the top, (we are 3 veggies eaters here)
I then place the bag into the microwave for 4 mins, and that it, they are ready.
You must be very careful when you open the bag because the steam is very hot. I
add no water or butter or anything to the veggies, they steam in their own
juices and any water that is left from washing them before....always wash your
veggies before cooking.
I then add butter or olive oil after they are cooked.
Give them a try....if any more question just ask.
You do have to make sure that when you place the bag in the microwave that
there is a clear side that faces up ward, so bags like the glad ones you stand
up.

Subject: [RecipesAndMore] question about zip lock bags for steaming

Hi friends,
I am curious to know if anyone has tried those zip lock baggies, made for
steaming veggies?
if anyone has tried them, will you please post to us and let us know how it
goes?
I want to buy some, but not to fond of soggy veggies, and not sure if it's what
I'll end up with.
thanks
Syl
