Now I am a wee bit confused here! are we talking about some type of microwaveable bags to steam veggies and other things with, or the bags with that vacuum sealer attachment tool that you store stuff in for the freezer so as not to get freezer burn?

You must be very careful when you open the bag because the steam is very hot. I add no water or butter or anything to the veggies, they steam in their own juices and any water that is left from washing them before....always wash your veggies before cooking. I then add butter or olive oil after they are cooked. Give them a try....if any more question just ask. You do have to make sure that when you place the bag in the microwave that there is a clear side that faces up ward, so bags like the glad ones you stand up.
