Sincerely, Your customer "Green" Vehicles While driving in Pennsylvania, a family caught up to an Amish carriage. The owner of the carriage obviously had a sense of humor, because attached to the back of the carriage was a hand printed sign: "Energy efficient vehicle: Runs on oats and grass. Caution: Do not step in exhaust." Wild Cuisine I love the outdoors, and because of my passion for hunting and fishing, my family eats a considerable amount of wild game. We eat so much wild game, in fact, that one evening as I set a platter of broiled venison steaks on the dinner table, my ten-year-old daughter looked up and said: "Boy, it sure would be nice if pizzas lived in the woods." Leftovers Like all growing boys, my teenage grandson, Joe, was constantly hungry. I went to my refrigerator to find something he might like to eat. After poking around a bit and moving the milk and juice cartons, I spotted a bowl of leftover chili. "Hey, Joe," I called out excitedly. He came running into the kitchen. "Look! I found some chili." Struggling to be polite, he said, "If you're that surprised, I'm not really sure I want it." Diet Excuse #542 "But doctor, I have metal fillings in my teeth and the refrigerator magnets keep pulling me into the refrigerator!" A single candle can illuminate an entire room. A true friend lights up an entire lifetime.
