Well, that is where we differ then, because I would not want to live in a Theocracy of 
any
persuasion. I doubt very much most Aboriginal people would choose to either since 
which one of
their different religions or laws are you going to say is paramount?

You would wipe out human rights by imposing a theocracy you 'could live with'? What 
about the
rest of us? Human rights precludes the imposition of a state religion.

As I said, I think the conflict is one of definition. What does secularism mean to 
you? I believe
it is not the same as others understand its meaning. A secular state does not preclude 
'matters
of the soul' - it leaves matters like that to the individual without imposing controls 
on how
that should be done.
