I think you have missed my point Trudy,

The requirement expressed in the ConCon document requires a reference to
"Almighty God"

In other words the  rules won't allow you to "think beyond the word god"

They won't even let you think beyond a god with a capital G!

Not only that but your capital G god has to be an "Almighty" one.  I don't
think the tooth fairy would stand much chance of getting a leg in here.

With all of these constraints it is of course impossible to genuinely cater
for the diversity of belief systems which exist in Australia.

I agree that it is easy (and desirable) to cater for the wide range of
possible belief systems in a preamble. But it is not possible to do so
under the rules currently set for the game.
