I have to say that I am quite shocked about what seems to be a very
intolerant and hardlined approach to the protest. I was in Adelaide last
week and the protest seemed to be very low key - lots of banners and
slogans with people peacefully protesting and not hassling anyone. People
on the street were interested and looking at the protest but nobody seemed
'annoy(ed)' as a result of it (I didn't notice any smoke either!!). I
don't have a photo of the fire or protest - but from what I witnessed the
newspaper reports seem exaggerated to say the least. Did anyone else
witness the protest and have an opinion about the reporting of it and the
reaction of the local and state governments?
