ah ok, good to know ;)

any thoughts on what I might do to help the recording stream?  it seems like it's dumping cache when it does that, but crap, Its a total guess

The FLV cache is not used during recording as far as I know. I implemented it for use with pre-recorded files, so I am figuring that it is something else.

Has anyone any experience with recording an audio/video stream and had the source "pause" or "glitch" on you?  I mean, it's not pausing in the sense of someone clicked pause, it's like there's a chunk of cache being written and it jerks to a stop, then continues.  It's only for milliseconds, but how can I get rid of that?

I know I've seen emails about flv cache lately, and just wonder if I could be setting something for local use that would work well (IE: this is a pure client side app, not for the web)

thoughts?
