Thanks guys. I'm sure it's a VPN issue as when they come into the office and work locally it's fine.
The guids length appears fine but I can see in the client request that appears in the log file that it's missing the element guid for getting the element data. <CLIENT guid="25C2F1D633B2475BB3D97B4838DD31A3" date="2009-12-02T12:54:11.616+00:00"> <IODATA loginguid="0FF146E1559C465594BBD5C6683E43B1" dialoglanguageid="ENG" sessionkey="9B0CCD5D48BA41AAB8D8D43D5093EB98"> <ELEMENTS action="load" onlyvisible="1" guid=""><SELECTIONS action="list"/></ELEMENTS></IODATA> </CLIENT> <SERVER guid="25C2F1D633B2475BB3D97B4838DD31A3" date="2009-12-02T12:54:11.647+00:00"> <ERROR> PageGUID missing </ERROR> <IODATA><ELEMENTS action="load" onlyvisible="1" guid="" dialoglanguageid="ENG" sessionkey="9B0CCD5D48BA41AAB8D8D43D5093EB98" languagevariantid="ENG"><SELECTIONS action="list"/></ELEMENTS> </IODATA> </SERVER> Another nail in the coffin for remote working :-) On 1 Dec, 17:20, Dave Bellous <[email protected]> wrote: > Helen, > > The only time I've experienced that issue is with a malformed GUID. > > I encountered an issue a while back where the GUID in a particular page was > faulty (only had 31 characters somehow) and it was throwing a page error. > > Have a look at the GUID for that page element - and (as silly as it may seem) > count the characters in your GUID. > > If that's not it - keep chasing the VPN solution. > > Good luck, > > .dave > > On 2009-11-25, at 2:13 AM , Hels Bells wrote: > > > > > Hi all, > > > I've got a user who has been reporting seeing a pop-up error message > > saying PageGUID Missing.
