The dealer network is hopefully growing, Computers & Gadgets, Inc in Orlando Florida,
opened last week, selling IDE computers with Linux bundled and loaded in them for
under $800 each including a monitor, sound, modem. Time and gossip
are on the side of Linux, Even almost every article in the trade rags about MS
and DOJ suit mentions alternative OS's. Now if the newsmedia would do the same in the
general press, wow, and couldn't some of lthe guru's and major forces in
Linux submit stories to trade rags like Reseller News, about how Linux sales have
soared? When I do a web search of words, and Linux returns over 278,000 hits,
it has arrived. Now i just want to sponsor a LUG in my area, as the other four LUGs
are thirty or more miles away from the SeaWorld/ FloridaMall/Disney
tourist Mecca. Local Computer City is trying to find Linux Seminar teachers, and
I wish I could spare time, but am too busy with the Linux store. Had ordered
RedHat from Linux mall, to test and install on each computer, but that was on March
10th, and still haven't received it, so I am selling Pacific HiTech for now.
