I tried to use 3 different Maxtor 8.4 Gbyte drives with Windows 95 and all of them were bad. Something strange would happen after messing with the partition tables and they would never work correctly after that. I either got into a bad lot or there's something wrong with Maxtor's 8.4 Gb drives.
