I don't honestly recognize that, but it's open to interpretation. You're a numbers guy -- is it not reasonable to expect a normalization of the Sox pitching stats over the course of the rest of the season? After a stretch of bad .500 baseball, is it unreasonable to expect a stretch of, say, 22 wins out of 30 at some point?
I stick to silly and stupid to say that they're out of it. Because they're NOT out of it. My point has been proven.
