I first removed some of the rock and then I kind of got really involved and had to
remove almost all of it because like I said that things don't always go the way we
plan.
That is why you should kind of get a few ideas before hand.
I made a mess of things at first and my skimmer went nuts for a few days but
everything recovered better than I could have imagined ( I am convinced that my
skimmer ( one from Ron's ) kept my
organic under control ) I would blow out everything with a power head first next time
because you would not believe all the gunk that is in places that we can not see, (
hence is the reason I
ended up making a water change because I sucked all the crap that was left on the
bottom, I have no substrate, just glass)
