Six- 50 gallon tanks and 1 90 gal, all with 3-5 inch deep sand beds, except
the 90. the 90 has about 5-7 inches of LS with a 1 1/4 inch plenum installed.
On this system, I have an Iwaki md 100 RLT running the show from a Custom
Aquatic sump, along with an ETSS DualStack 1200 skimmer powered by a GRI 1500
GPH pump. Mostly PC's, with the exception of one tank (SPS) that has 2-250
Iwasaki's powered by IceCap ballast . Other systems include (softies) 20-29
gals, all with deep sand beds same type return pump, no skimmer, just a
single 50 gal tank so loaded with three types of Xenia, that you can't see
the bottom (this acts as my skimmer) All systems have a 20 gallon refugium,
with three or four types of Macros usually in 'em (I sell the stuff, so it
varies) All systems employ K2R Calcium reactors and the only dosing I do is
fresh water and Lugol's.
That's about the jist of it ! Also have a couple of display tanks heavily
poulated with SPS and a couple of BASKETBALL-sized LPS and clams (150 GAL and
180 GAL) ............All this and I'm still E X P A N D I N G, adding more
systems in the spring . Including a larger Captive-Raised Seahorse Tank
(hopefully my Leafy Sea Dragons will be ready by then ) Gotta go, customer
