(JhhnMffft) You should take a look at the Iwasaki 6500K , driven by IceCap
electronic ballasts, they don't look piss-yellow at all, in fact I was rather
surprised myself to see how "crisp"-white it looked. I don't have any O3
Actinic on this particular SPS grow out tank...YES, the colors do look more
dramatic with a 10K lamp, but at the same time I've got turqoise-blue tipped
Acro that grows very quickly.I'v also got some purple Montipora that is VERY
PURPLE under the same system (2-250 W 6500K's on a 24"x48" tank that is only
12 inches tall)
Some have growth rates as high as 3/8 of an inch per month !
