I would say they have different requirements, not
really more difficult. Also, both types can be found anywhere on the reef,
in many conditions, in fact the world's leading coral writer says there is no
difference.... For what reasons are you calling millepora an LPS? It
is more closely related to jelly fish than any lps. Also, I have not
heard of this book that you are reffering to but it seems a bit outdated,
millepora are a reef crest coral and need high light levels and a TON of
current.
