Hi all, given some recent issues with my current web host, I'm seriously thinking about finding a new home for my sites. I'm not looking forward to the transition. I'm not looking forward to it at all. I've been with my current host for eight years and thus know it well and will have a lot to shift if I leave. Additionally I host mail for some friends and family through a few of the domains, which will complicate the shift. I might screws the latter by moving email hosting to Google, but I'm not set on that yet.
So, I would love to hear about the host you *love* and why. I don't earn anything off of the domains and my traffic is pretty low, so I'm not looking at anything above $20/month and would like to come in lower. I do need a host that: - will support unlimited domains and subdomains - is WordPress friendly - provides ssh and sftp access - good disk space and bandwidth (I'd love an unlimited plan given how common they are) - mysql - a decent control panel with some form of mysql admin - email - sitting on top of some form of *nix - bonus if it supports python and RoR out of the box - good / friendly support would be amazing So, who do ya love and why?
