Have used MediaTemple Rackspace and Dreamhost for client sites. All offer levels of plusses and minuses.
I currently use Site5 http://www.site5.com/hosting/web/. I love LOVE their hosting. Im on the HostPro+Turbo account and get unlimited bandwith and space. Via the control panel I can create as many sites as needed. Note that site is a totally separate server instance. Not simple a site under the same host directory. This works out great for hosting client sites. There are some cons I have with Site5 that I miss from other hosts. 1. On site ordering and install of SSL certs. They don't yet provide SSL purchase. They will install almost any cert you purchase from third party providers. 2. I don't have direct access to the Apache conf files. Not that I need it. But in a former life I was more a sys admin tweaking Apache and MySQL. The support is top notch and have not had any downtime directly from hosting or midnight server upgrades like some other shared hosts.
