Good point. If a black guy cuts
me off in traffic I'll call him a n_____. If a woman cuts me off, I'll
call her a cunt. Those who delight in finding racism and sexism everywhere
will then hurl these words at me. Of course, their point falls apart when
a guy cuts me off in traffic and I call him a prick. Does that make me
anti-men?
Why do some people like to find
racism everywhere? Maybe it gives them a feeling of moral
superiority? Maybe it helps prove to themselves that they themselves are
not racist? Probably a combination of reasons.
Of course I don't deny that real
racism does exist. It's just hard to
find amid all the fake cases.
