Hello Larry, You should have no difficulty tuning the pass, just observe HIGH and LOW freq inputs. If the series band reject capacitors do not have the range you need,
1 - If inserting the polystyrene rod does not quite reach your notch point, and the rod bottoms out, then get a long drill bit and drill the polystyrene rod a little deeper so you can insert it further. This (believe it or not) adds capacitance. Also I have added a little length by soldering a small length of #10 or #12 copper wire to the existing rod. 2 - If removing the polystyrene rod approaches but does not reach your notch, then cut about 1/2" off the center conductor rod and try again. Also, in a pinch, detuning the pass will move the reject. I have slightly detuned in order to move the reject. I had the luxury of being 30 miles from Waco Communications shop and working with Kit and Lloyd for several years. Also John Elliot still has a duplexer tuning business in Waco.
