I do believe Cush-Craft did make the J-Pole antenna - that's where the currently used name came from.
Cush-Craft made two versions - the ham radio version (basically a light weight) and the commercial version - (a serious heavy-duty heavy weight) I may still have some catalog sheets around here - somewhere ... in that file cabinet ... there >>>>> !!
