If you cannot afford a DB224, then the G6-144 would be my choice. I had
occasion several years ago to do a head to head comparison between a
DB224 and a G6-144, and I could not find any real difference in performance.
The Hustler antenna will not be a durable as a comercial antenna, but if
cost is a concern, then it is the way to go. Incidentially, I do not recommend
the G7-144, as it has some mechanical problems that can cause them to fail
prematurely. A ringo is the last antenna I would put up for any reason. 73,
