I don't agree...

The bandwidth of that counterpoise assembly is relatively broad,
especially compared to the Diamond and Commet type of multiband
antennas. I use the Ringo in both Commercial and Amateur 100 watt
duplex repeater systems all the time... no problama.

I stopped using Multiband antennas for repeaters, many I've tested
don't have enough bandwidth and are not adjustable as a general rule.

The Ringo is a great repeater antenna, if properly assembled and
tuned. The DC shunt of the ring is a very nice part of the antenna.
The initial tuning of the Ringo is a bit more work than most lazy
folks want to do. Once properly adjusted, you rarely have to retouch
the matching.

I use both the Ringo and the Hustler G6/G7 type of antennas. Get a
newer Hustler if you buy one, so you don't have to deal with their
older lousy rain drain system.

The preformance will have a lot to do with your HAAT (elevation). The
antennas have different beamwidths. In reality, you might not notice a
lot of difference. Changing from the ARX2 to the "B" version will
probably set up the largest change in preformance.
