Many of them are running CTCSS. If you're not, that would explain it.
When the band's up I hear Florida, Michigan, and others from time to
time from Denver. The Michigan (Boston) machine usually pounds in here
when conditions are up.
Why no ID's on the 10m side of the remote base/repeater? That'd put the
responsibility of ID'ing the repeater/remote base transmitter on the
person using it, and frankly - they won't do it. I think that's a
really bad idea for a whole lot of reasons.
