As an engineer I recomend you go with a ready made 222MHz solution such as those made by Kevin and Scott at Repeater-Builder.com. It is a good choice if you do not have all the test equipment and skill to make one of these run where they shouldn't.

I saw the Micor version at dayton last year, but alas I am a fan of GE equipment, but both are avalible.
