marketed unless it was to close the repeater.

I wonder why anyone might put CTCSS or DCS on a D-Star repeater since the 
received signal must be D-Star before the repeater can be accessed unless the 
repeater can operate in conviential analog mode also.  Of course here the 
analog side could require CTCSS/DCS without requiring the D-Star to require it 
or I would hope so.

If the repeater owner does wish to close his/her system so be it...it is 
theirs.  However, if they want to expand D-Star and get users make the DCS code 
one all can have.

Wonder if the repeater owner has been contacted about this issue.  Again it is 
their repeater and they can close, but they might not know of the limits of 
other rigs.
