It is a LOT different! The Q2221E is, according to my listing, a "Q-series Res-Lok" duplexer for the 220 MHz band. The Res-Lok cavities differ from other Q-series duplexers in that they are made from extruded aluminum plates. Other Q-series cavities are 7" diameter round cylinders.
Your best bet is to contact Sinclair directly at www.sinctech.com and request tuning instructions based upon your model and serial numbers. Needless to say, the Q2221E is a completely different device from either the Q2220E or the Q2222E. Never assume! Rather than attempt a major conversion on your own, it may be much cheaper to ship your device to Sinclair for conversion to and tuning to what you want. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Bob M. Maybe not exactly the 2221, but I bet they're all very similar. I definitely saw 2220 as a number; how much different can it be?
