You really should do you research better before you make statements about the abilities of controllers. As I am sure others will tell you. I have an Arcom RC-210 on a 440 repeater linked to a local 2m machine. Through this system I offer. Wx alert as well as playback of alerts
Frequency agile remote base from 80 meters thru 440 mhz, all modes,offsets,pl's with memories Site monitoring and alarms of temp, fans, voltage, swr, and output power using meter faces per the manual. And I am soon to add a complete weather station to the system but for this I will have to piggyback a cat controller. Every controller has its pros and cons just like cars. You research what you need or want and pick one that best matches your needs. Then build onto the base controler with addons as in my want of a weather station. The rc-re0 did not have it but the cat did. The cat didn't have the remote base I wanted and has a problem with control from a control rx while there is a sig on the main rx. The list of radios that can be interfaced with SOME of the controllers out there is as old as my aunt Bea.
