<----BNC HT antenna connector break because of the leverage of the antenna. As a cable end, it's a non-issue. As for the ol' PL-259 argument, alot about it is a myth and way overblown (although I steer away from them myself). And I have to say I have NEVER heard anyone of credit steer away from BNC use in repeaters. Why would they? The BNC is an EXCELLENT performing connector well past UHF frequencies. Of course, it is your repeater and you're free to do what you want. Just seems like a waste of time, energy and money to me....
