Odd. It's not in the repeater band segment in WPA, nor is it in the ARRL's bandplan, and Part 97 doesn't have bandplans - they jsut have spectrum where certain operations are legal, but that doesn't mean you have to use that mode.
CW is legal everywhere per Part 97. Does that mean you should only operate CW on all HF bands? Including the segments where voice communications are permitted? (except perhaps 60M) Just because you are legal to do something does not mandate that you do something. And I know of no local bandplan where 146.520 MHz is a repeater output or input. Therefore, any such operation is against the bandplan and poor practice (which is against Part 97). Joe M.
