Dan, I have a Hamtronics REP-200 at a mountaintop site that has been trouble-free. I am using the stock 15 watt PA, and the coverage is very good over the Central Coast of California. One precaution I took was to put a single ferrite isolator on the TX output, to protect the PA transistor- which has no power control feedback loop and no high-SWR protection.
