Oh no... I hate this discussion. Let's just say that there are plenty of people on both sides of the fence. I have a fair amount of experience with Maven on big complicated projects and loathe it intensely.

For all its flaws, it's still the better Java build tool. I'd probably be willing to write and contribute a buildfile if the Powers That Be are interested.
