More on Client Updates

Speaking of the hard way, it turns out that on the Windows side all was well indeed with the manual update, but only for the Windows 2000 clients. All my NT4 workstations needed a reboot in order to render the client active. Strange...

No, the backups will continue under the old client until the computer
reboots, at which time the new client kicks in.

However, be aware that if any of your computers run Norton
Anti-Virus' Auto-Protect extension, your Macs will crash when the
server tries to update them.  I found this out the hard way.
