    `stderr` is just a name; I read it as a side-channel for output that is 
different from program output. It can be for error messages, but is not 
inherently only for error messages. I don't think it's unusual to log to stderr 
but it's not universal. You can always change it though, so, I don't know that 
it's worth modifying the default in Spark. This may be behavior people are 
expecting at this point.
