Thanks @holdenk for chiming in. I fully agree with @srowen's. I do understand this can happen. I have made many mistakes too. The PR was reviewed and approved eventually after the commit, and the leftover comments were (being) addressed properly as above. Handling the case does look appropriate to me - the concerns were raised legitimately, and they are properly being handled.
