The API returns a boolean[], where each element indicates whether the
corresponding VariantProjection can be pushed down.
VariantProjection is defined as:
```
public final class VariantProjection {
private final String[] columnName; // like column path to the actual
nested field in variant from root schema
private final DataType expectedDataType;
// ...
}
```
