Follow-up pushed in b451cc3eb49: constructor-time Connect validation now rejects only CHAR/VARCHAR hidden in UDT storage. Ordinary nested CHAR/VARCHAR keeps the existing parity contract of failing at invocation/registration, while the UDT-backed decorator case still fails immediately as its test requires. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
