Rebased onto current `upstream/master` and force-pushed safely at 8e4536ac78e. Conflict resolution retained SPARK-59276's current Connect local-relation implementation, merged the upstream and SPARK-59275 `ConvertToCatalystSuite` imports, and restored `CharType`/`VarcharType` imports needed by the upstream Connect Arrow-lowering helper. No unresolved review threads remain. Verification: - `ConvertToCatalystSuite`: 35 tests passed - focused `ExtractPythonUDFsSuite` UDT-storage regression: passed - all changed Python files compile - `git diff --check`: passed The direct local Connect helper invocation remains unavailable because pandas/PyArrow are not installed on this host; refreshed CI will exercise that path. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
