    Also, I think that we might be able to clean up the code slightly by adding 
a type to this method:
    
    ```scala
    def checkConsistency[E <: Expression: ClassTag](dt: DataType)
    ```
    
    to let callers write something like
    
    ```scala
    checkConsistencyBetweenInterpretedAndCodegen[Sinh](DoubleType)
    ```
