I know that this is still `WIP`, but were you thinking about also enabling
this for the two `Spillable` collections (ExternalAppendOnlyMap and
ExternalSorter)? That's probably a lower priority given that we're most
concerned about optimizing SQL's memory usage, but it would still be nice to
do. If we decide to defer it for now, let's create a followup task to do it in
the next release.
