@snir It's hard to pin down exactly where the problem is and how to fix it.
We removed the `NullIntolerant` trait from the implementations of the
`ExtractValue` trait in `complexTypeExtractors.scala` and that fixed the
problem. I've been reluctant to push a commit with this change, because I don't
know that this is correct. The problem you raise is an open issue with this PR
and a blocker for its merge.
Of course, getting a review of this PR is a blocker, too. ð
