It's not part of the API. I can't evaluate your claims but you seem pretty
sure about them, but am not aware of the history why netlib-java wasn't used. I
suppose these things don't change unless someone thinks they are worth
changing. Will let @mengxr weigh in on the changes and ad for your presentation
in the docs.
