We can't RelNote every feature we don't include support for. Especially
if there's no change from the prior release.
Apologies for the rude tone of my earlier message. That's certainly fair for
firewire, since as you said it has never been part of RHEL. Perhaps a
better place would have been the Knowledge Base:

Maybe someone could paste your sentence in there:
"Red Hat hasn't committed to any sort of schedule to include
