But not as funny as the compat-oracle-rhel4 package which replaces your system /usr/bin/gcc in the %postinstall section to get around the fact that they can't: 1) replace the existing /usr/bin/gcc in the %files section of their RPM as it is already owned by another RPM 2) rewrite their code so that it doesn't have a hardcoded path for gcc I giggled when I saw that... -- Sam
