Yes, but that Driver is included in Red Hat (and probably other Linux
distributions). It works fine out of the box on any of the versions I
mentioned (specifically those updates because that was when support for
the SAS drives was introduced, which are necessary for the G5 revision)

No. If you configure iLO (which means putting a network cable into the
iLO port (it's marked on the back) and configuring the network settings)
you can browse to it with a web browser. If you have an iLO Advanced
License (purchased from HP) you can use that Web interface to simulate a
CD-Rom drive using either the drive on your local PC, or an ISO image
file. iLO is designed for datacentres like ours so we can *virtually*
stick a disk in the drive without having to walk 50 yards to the
datacentre itself - nice but not totally necessary.
